Liam Whetter is a multi-species angler with a deep seated passion for fishing that dates back to his early childhood.
The official photographer and videographer for Gord Pyzer’s Canadian Angling Adventures, Liam has shot numerous front covers and feature magazine images for several Canadian and American media outlets, including Outdoor Canada Magazine, In-Fisherman Magazine, JUST FISHING! and Ontario Tourism.
Liam’s passion for photography and videography has evolved into Whetter Fishing, a modern content creation and media company that specializes in multi-species adventure angling.
Specializing in marketing, Liam has put a fishing focus on his projects, which has given him the opportunity to learn extensively about the industry and drive deep into the market.
Known for catching trophy size fish of all species, Liam has landed massive muskies weighing more than 40 pounds and countless giant lake trout tipping the scales at over 30 pounds. Liam was also part of a small group that landed an over 58-pound lake trout that set the new lodge record on Lake Athabasca.
Living in Kenora, Ontario on the shores of Lake of the Woods, Liam has spent more time on the water than anglers twice his age. He has many times been a featured seminar presenter …. and is a pro staff member of some of the most respected names in the fishing industry.
