David Chong is one of Canada’s most recognizable and successful competitive tournament anglers. He is a multi-species angler who has won numerous bass, pike, crappie and perch tournaments, “Angler of Year” titles, “Team of the Year” titles and Classic titles. His competitive fishing career led him to representing Canada at the inaugural 2018 Pan American Black Bass Championships, the XIV Black Bass World Championship in Mexico and the 2019 Pan American Black Bass Championship held on Lake St. Francis where he recently celebrated a GOLD medal victory with the rest of Team Canada. A highly sought after seminar presenter, David enjoys sharing his vast knowledge of fishing and competitive angling with inquiring anglers, young and old. David is passionate about introducing new anglers of all ages to the wonderful sport of fishing especially kids and it's clearly evident in his actions!
